چکیده

As a source of growth factors, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has been widely used in the repair various injuries due to its cytoprotective properties regenerative medicine. The objective present study was investigate effect autologous PRP supplementation on quality frozen-thawed human sperm. Twelve normozoospermic semen samples were collected, and each sample divided into 4 aliquots added with different proportions (0%, 2%, 5%, 10%) separately, followed by cryopreservation. Sperm motility, viability, membrane integrity, DNA fragmentation index (DFI), reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels mitochondrial potential measured analyzed. results showed that addition 5% improved sperm progressive motility (30.3 ± 2.7 VS. 28.1 2.6), viability (65.5 4.2 59.6 3.9), integrity (52.4 3.6 49.2 3.4) after cryopreservation (P < 0.05). Slight attenuation ROS generation, restoration reduction fragments also observed post-thawed supplemented PRP, but there no significant > In conclusion, partial protective spermatozoa, combined application other high-efficiency cryoprotectant is worthy further study.

The Effect of Human Platelet-Rich Plasma on Adipose-Derived Stem Cell Proliferation and Osteogenic Differentiation

Background: The cultured mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) have been used in many clinical trials however, there are still some concerns about the cultural conditions. One concern is related to the use of FBS as a widely used xenogeneic supplement in the culture system. Human platelet-rich plasma (hPRP) is a candidate replacement for FBS. In this study, the effect of hPRP on MSC proliferation and os...

Methods: PRP was collected from patients receiving NSAIDs after elective orthopaedic surgery, and platelet function was evaluated using light transmission aggregometry (LTA). Results were compared with those obtained from healthy volunteers without a history of NSAID intake during the previous 2 weeks. Two different systems for blood collection and PRP production (Arthrex ACP double-syringe sys...

The Effect of Platelet Rich Plasma on Chondrogenic Differentiation of Human Adipose Derived Stem Cells in Transwell Culture

Objective(s): Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has recently emerged as a promising strategy in regenerative medicine due to its multiple endogenous growth factors. Little is known about the role of PRP as a promoter in chondrogenesis of human adipose derived stem cells (hADSCs). The aim of this study was to determine whether PRP may be considered as a natural and easy achievable source o...
